Private Shore Excursions & Private Onboard Events with San Francisco Wine School

All aboard the Marina sailing from Lisbon to Amsterdam June 13 - 24th!  We're thrilled to announce the exclusive private activities and excursions, Master Sommelier David Glancy has curated for our private group!  

Oceania offers excursions & activities for a fee that are open to all 1,200 passengers, but the excursions below are private and available to just our group.  They will be personally hosted by David and expert special guests.  We will automatically register all guests for activities that are included in the price of your trip.  If you do not wish to participate, please let us know.  Some excursions below require an additional registration and fee.  Fees are all inclusive with admission, meals, wines, and private transportation as described.  Registration must be completed by March 31st. 

You may register for each item a la carté or save $200 by registering for "I Want It All" which includes all paid excursions.  Installment plans are available at checkout.

We've reserved several large tables together to continue the meet & greet from the lounge into the dining room. Everyone will order individually off the menu.  We encourage everyone to bring the most interesting bottle they found in Lisbon to share.  Please note individual corkage charges may apply.

Port Wine Lodge Excursion with 2 Winemaker Led Tastings & Lunch

Fri, 14 June: Porto & Vila Nova de Gaia
9:30am-5pm

We'll start with a winemaker led Cellar tour and an 8+ wine tasting including older vintages in Vila Nova de Gaia.  Then we'll enjoy a private group lunch with winemaker led tasting at a nearby restaurant. Finally, we'll have 90-min on our own to explore Vila Nova de Gaia before the bus returns to the ship.

Grandes Pagos de Espana Master Class, Tasting & Lunch 

Sat, 15 June: La Coruna, Spain

We're thrilled to offer this 4 winemaker led tasting/seminar with Grandes Pagos de España with lunch at La Rectoral de Cines where we'll enjoy the best of local cuisine.  This excursion includes transportation to & from the ship leaving time afterward to explore the port before our 6pm departure.

Onboard Wine Tasting - Diversity of Bordeaux I

Sun, 16 June: On Departure from Bilbao, Spain
6pm-7pm

Join us before dinner for a wine reception & casual class with 6 wines featuring various areas & styles of Bordeaux.  This way, we'll be armed with knowledge when we arrive in Bordeaux the next morning.

Medoc & St Emilion Grand Cru Classé Châteaux Excursion (Left & Right Bank)

Mon, 17 June: Bordeaux, France
9:15am-6pm

Our private bus will whisk us to Château PRIEURE LICHINE in Margaux (Grand Cru Classé), followed by a walking tour of Château Margaux (1st Growth) on our way to a decadent 3 course wine lunch at Chateau Marquis de Terme, and our final tasting at Château BEAUSEJOUR BECOT in St Emilion (Premier Grand Cru Classé) before our scenic walking tour of the town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Both winery tastings will include mature vintages of the chateaux's top wines.

Private Bordeaux Chateau Dinner

We're in for a real treat at Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere, Graves Cru Classe, where we'll enjoy this magnificent castle and dining in style with proprietor, Véronique Bonnie. It's a long day & night, but Bordeaux is what we've been saving our energy for! This is a treat not to be missed!

Join us before dinner for our 2nd Bordeaux wine reception & casual class where we'll taste wines from 6 of the AOC's we didn't visit on our excursion to conclude our Bordeaux adventure as we sail to Lorient, France.

We'll indulge in a private 5-course set menu in specialty restaurant, Polo Grill, with wines from Grandes Pagos de Espana & pairings created by Master Sommelier David Glancy.

Fri, 21 June: Le Havre, France
10am-3:30pm

Hop on our private bus as we take the scenic route to Calvados, where we'll enjoy a private tour and tasting at Famille Dupont in Calvados followed by a classic multi-course Normandy lunch at Le Vieux Tour.

Farewell Wine Pairing Dinner in Toscana Restaurant

Sun, 23 June: On Departure from Bruges, Belgium
7pm-10pm

We'll celebrate our final time together with another decadent 5-course set menu in specialty restaurant, Toscana, featuring wines from the Languedoc region of France, elegantly paired by Master Sommelier David Glancy.  This will be the perfect way to end our trip as we sail overnight to Amsterdam.
