Italy is a global powerhouse and Italian wine is hot in the USA. Credential seekers can check out our Italian Wine Scholar North & Italian Wine Scholar South certification programs, but everyone will enjoy Intro to Italian Wines! Piedmont's Barolo & Tuscany's Brunello surely make our list but come find out our other picks. Join us as we explore Italy's top regions and appellations. In this seminar taste 6 wines as we present the grapes, styles and diversity of Italy's greatest wines.
This individual class about wine fundamentals may be taken as part of our Intro Series or individually à la carte. Your wine 101 class fees can be applied to the cost of the full series if you would like to continue on. Payment plans are also available for the full series. Format & Location
Hybrid - Room/Zoom
Our Hybrid Room/Zoom experience allows each individual to choose to participate in-person as a "Roomer" with wine in their glass or online as a "Zoomer" with a custom tasting kit. Both Roomers and Zoomers have the same wines and are able to engage with us and each other during these live classes. Recordings are also available within 1 business day after the class. You will receive the zoom link and any handouts needed a few days before class via email. Check spam and contact help@sfwineschool.com if you have not received it within 1 business day of your class/event.
If you have a tasting kit, it may be picked up at San Francisco Wine School or delivered across the US. Wine parameter lists are available for those participating in locations where kits cannot be delivered. View pickup and delivery options here.
